Simon is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with 30 years experience in the Driffield area and is the partner in charge of the residential sales office in Driffield.
Simon also has the overall responsibility for the Lettings Department and has been the driving force behind our very successful property auctions.
He is the fifth generation of his family to be a partner in the firm and being a Driffield person born and bred, he has a vast local knowledge which is vital to anyone in the business of valuing property.
Sam is a Member of the RICS and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers. Originally from Shropshire, Sam graduated from Reading University and joined Dee Atkinson & Harrison in 1997 to undertake her post graduate training before becoming a Valuer with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and then the Senior Rural Surveyor in Yorkshire for the National Trust. Sam re-joined Dee Atkinson & Harrison in 2011 and provides professional advice on a range of matters, including estate management, valuation, compulsory purchase and compensation, together with sales and lettings and leads the commercial property department.
Chris has worked in estate agency since 1995, in and around Beverley, East and North Yorkshire, as well as London. He built up a successful business that was 4 branches strong, so if you need assistance with property, he has all the experience and local knowledge to assist. His wife Rachel is a headteacher, so he is regularly drafted in to assist at school events, and he has two sons, both now in their early 20s. A pair of dogs a large garden and long walks fill his spare time.
Rebecca joined Dee Atkinson & Harrison in 1997 as a graduate after completing her studies in Rural Land Management at Cirencester, she subsequently qualified as a Member of the RICS and a Fellow of the CAAV.
Her early career focused on rural estate management, and with that backdrop, she developed a special interest in, and an in-depth knowledge of, the Agricultural Holding Act and in particular succession planning, disputes and more importantly, resolution. She sits on the Property Committee of the CAAV.
Rebecca works across the region, and outside it, advising both Landlords and Tenants, alongside general professional work. She works on a part time flexible basis within the Rural Team.
Amelia joined the Dee Atkinson & Harrison Rural Team in 2020 after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture awarded by Harper Adams University. She is currently studying an MSc degree in ‘Sustainable Food and Agriculture Policy’ via distance learning at the Royal Agricultural University with the intention of assisting agricultural businesses to build resilience following the shift in agricultural policy towards environmental foci and sustainable management practices. A wide range of previous farming experience means Amelia appreciates the practicalities of implementing change on farm and the challenges facing agriculture.
Lucy is an established member of the team at the Driffield Branch and has an in-depth knowledge of the process of property sales. Having previously been involved in sales, her front of house role is ideal for her to put her selling skills to good use. Her bubbly personality provides customers with friendly service and her local knowledge means she is also helpful and informative.
A Driffield girl, born and bred, Ashleigh not only has a passion for property, but also an excellent knowledge of the local area. These factors combined with her excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail mean that you can be assured of outstanding service and an enjoyable property sale or purchase.

Jeanette joined the company in 2005 after working for an estate agency in York. She feels very lucky in that she loves her job and that her skills are in being able to deal with any person and possible situation with understanding and compassion, as she only ever wants to achieve a positive outcome for everyone.
She considers that If you have to do a little bit extra to get a result for the client, then that’s just part of the job. The most gratifying outcome for Jeanette is handing the keys over on completion day to a “thank you for your help”, or for those who move around a lot to come back and say “I’m back again”, or to receive personal recommendation from a seller’s family or friend.
Amy joined the lettings team in 2023 and quickly completed the ARLA qualification in Residential Letting and Property Management. Through her property maintenance role, she is the point of contact for our tenants and can be found arranging contractors, organising Gas Safety and EICR renewals, as well as assisting with property viewings and new tenancy sign ups. Experienced in customer service and having a keen interest in property, Amy’s friendly manner and knowledge is of great benefit when liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors.
Jo was a legal secretary living in London for 12 years but being a local girl at heart, decided to return to her roots and she has never looked back since! Before joining the company in 2014 she worked as a sales negotiator in the West Hull area for 4 years where she gained invaluable knowledge in the estate agency industry. In her words; “The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the process through from beginning to end, dealing with customers both face to face and on the telephone.”
Having been previously involved in sales and now working in the property industry for over four years, Charlie is an experienced, helpful and hardworking member of our Beverley team, with an in-depth knowledge of the sales process and experience in valuing. Simone joined Dee Atkinson and Harrison in 2005 and is an established member of the Driffield team. Simone excels in the maintenance aspect of the Lettings Department and prides herself with good customer relations with Landlords, tenants and contractors.
Romilly joined the DA&H lettings team early in 2022 and became an instant hit with landlords and tenants alike. During maternity leave she passed her ARLA exams but has returned to work in a new role as our property auction manager.
Carole joined the firm in 2022 but is no stranger to the property market having worked for many years for a firm of Chartered Surveyors in North Yorkshire. Having previously been a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Auctioneer she has a wealth of knowledge and a passion for all aspects of property.
Lynn joined the Beverley team part time in April 2023. Originally from York, Lynn has worked in the new build home sector for the last 15 years. She has a wealth of experience in building and renovating properties and a passion for providing the best customer care, to help you though the buying and selling process.
